Nikos Skalkotas Hall

The Nikos Skalkotas Hall at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC) is a versatile and intimate venue named after the renowned Greek composer Nikos Skalkotas. This hall accommodates up to 380 attendees in a theater-style setting, making it ideal for lectures, film screenings, smaller concerts, and corporate meetings. Its contemporary design, paired with advanced audiovisual equipment, ensures an immersive experience for audiences, whether they’re attending a professional event or a cultural gathering.

Skalkotas Hall is part of MAICC’s larger offering of sophisticated event spaces and has been carefully designed with acoustics in mind, providing clear sound and sightlines from every seat. Located within the heart of Athens and near other MAICC spaces.

Giannis Marinos Hall

The Giannis Marinos Hall is located at the premises of The Friends of Music Society inside the Athens Concert Hall and can accommodate up to 188 attendees. It is ideal for smaller conferences, panel discussions, and lectures. Its design and layout facilitate a focused environment, suitable for presentations and interactive events. The hall’s moderate size allows for a comfortable yet close setting, supporting events that benefit from audience engagement, such as workshops or cultural talks.

Lecture Hall

The Lecture Hall is aversatile space designed for academic and professional gatherings, such as seminars, lectures, and workshops. Known for its adaptable layout and equipped with advanced audiovisual capabilities, the hall provides a comfortable environment for mid-sized audiences. Located within MAICC’s expansive conference complex, the Lecture Hall offers convenient access to other meeting spaces and amenities, enhancing the experience for event organizers and attendees alike.

Conference Suite – MC Halls

The Conference Suites and MC Halls consist of five adaptable rooms—Suites 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5—designed to accommodate a range of small to medium-sized meetings and breakout sessions. These suites are well-equipped to handle business gatherings, workshops, or private sessions, with layouts that can be customized based on group size and event type.

Skalkotas Foyer

The Skalkotas Foyer at the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC) stands out as a spacious and stylish area dedicated to supporting various events with comfort and modern design.

How to get to Megaron the Athens Concert Hall

Megaron is situated at the corner of Vas. Sofias Avenue and Kokkali St.

You can also get here by public transport from any part of Athens:

From Syntagma Square / City Centre

Walking: Approx. 20–25 minutes (straight route along Vasilissis Sofias Avenue).

Direction “Airport” → stop at Megaron Moussikis (1 stop, ~3 minutes).

The station exit leads directly into the Megaron complex.

By metro

It’s just two minutes walking from the «Megaro Mousikis» station (Metro Line 3 – Blue) to the venue entrance.

By bus

Bus lines Ε14, Α5 and 550 stop right in front of the venue

By electrically driven bus

The new metro station “Dimotiko Theatro”, it’s just a 24 minutes ride to “Megaro Mousikis” station.
